Who the controller is

AJP Marine LTDA, registered under CNPJ 68.457.666/0001-07 and based in Rio Grande — Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, is the controller of personal data processed through this site, under Brazil's Law 13.709/2018 (LGPD).

What we collect

Only what you send through the contact form:

• Name
• Company, if given
• Email
• Phone, if given
• Vessel and engine, if given
• Location and expected inspection window, if given
• The content of your message

Alongside the submission we also record the originating IP address and the language the form was filled in. The IP lets us investigate abuse of the form, and is what allows us to tell a genuine enquiry from an automated one.

We collect no sensitive data, ask for no documents, and carry out no profiling or automated decision-making about you.

What we use it for

Solely to answer your enquiry and to carry on whatever commercial conversation follows. We do not use your data for marketing, we send nothing you have not asked for, and we neither sell nor pass your data to third parties.

On what legal basis

Processing rests on article 7, item V of the LGPD — preliminary procedures related to a contract, at the data subject's own request. When you fill in the form to request an inspection, processing your data is what makes answering that request possible.

Recording the IP address rests on article 7, item IX — legitimate interest in the security of the service and the prevention of fraud and abuse.

Who we share it with

We share your data with no third party for their own purposes. We do rely on infrastructure providers acting as processors on our behalf:

• Cloudflare — site hosting, abuse protection, and processing of the form
• Resend — delivery of the form message to our mailbox
• Zoho — our email service, where the message is received and stored

International transfer

The providers above operate infrastructure outside Brazil. In sending us a message, your data may be processed and stored in other countries, under article 33 of the LGPD. We select providers offering contractual guarantees of protection consistent with Brazilian law.

How long we keep it

We keep the message for as long as the commercial relationship lasts, and for whatever period is needed to meet legal obligations and defend our rights. If the conversation does not go anywhere, you can ask us to delete it at any time and we will.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies and installs no third-party tracker in your browser. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

The form is protected against bots by Cloudflare Turnstile, which examines technical signals from the browser at the moment of submission, without identifying you personally and without following you across sites.

Your rights

The LGPD grants you, at any time and at no cost, the right to confirm that processing exists, access your data, correct incomplete or outdated data, request anonymisation, blocking or deletion, request portability, learn who we share it with, and withdraw consent.

To exercise any of them, write to [email protected]. We answer as quickly as we can. You may also complain to Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).

Changes to this policy

If this text changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Changes that matter to anyone who has already written to us will be communicated by email.
